The
illustrations of the nano-colloid are just that. They are
artists' conceptions of what we think the things look like which do
such good work. So far, we have no cameras powerful enough to give us a
true portrait of them.
What we do have is pictures from electron micrography of what the

 This is a 100,000X magnification. What used to be
a dangerous solid
mass of oil has been broken into countless now harmless oil particles
completely surrounded by water never to reattach with others and small
and vulnerable enough that naturally occurring bacteria can eat and
